Sydney Funderburk
Sydney earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a clinical concentration from Anderson University in 2021. She continued her education at Clemson University in 2022, completing both a Master’s in Counselor Education and an Education Specialist degree with a concentration in clinical mental health counseling. She worked at a local nonprofit serving individuals of all ages, couples, and families. Since then, she has been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A), supporting adult clients navigating anxiety, trauma, mood concerns, relationships, self-esteem, career challenges, and more.
Sydney has completed the Mile In Our Boots training held by SCFAST and is passionate about supporting first responders and their loved ones. As the family member of firefighters, she understands firsthand the importance of wellness both in and out of the workplace and loves helping clients move toward the change they want to see.
