Chiara Carpenter
Embedded Clinician
Chiara is a dedicated clinician committed to serving communities impacted by trauma and stress. A proud graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University, Chiara earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health in May 2025. Throughout her academic and clinical training, she developed a particular passion for working with individuals experiencing PTSD and complex trauma, often stemming from high-stress and impactful work environments. She completed her internship with Responder Support Services during the 2024-2025 academic year.
With a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by first responders and community members in demanding situations, Chiara is committed to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care. Bringing a multicultural lens to the practice, she intends to honor and address the diverse needs and backgrounds of the communities served, fostering healing and resilience across varied populations. Chiara is passionate about addressing the unique mental health challenges faced by first responders, particularly the prevalence of suicidality within this community. She strives to create safe, empowering spaces for healing and growth, ensuring that every first responder's story is heard and valued. She is honored to serve alongside the courageous men and women of the first responder community.
Chiara is embedded with Cabarrus County Sherriff's Office, Cabarrus County EMS, and Cabarrus County Department of Human Services.
