Michael Greene
Michael graduated from the Social Work program at WCU and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. His training and experience have focused primarily on individual psychotherapy, integrated behavioral health in primary care, and working with underserved populations in Western North Carolina.
Michael’s approach to clinical work is integrative, rooted in evidence-based Cognitive-Behavioral therapies using a biopsychosocial (or holistic) model, and prioritizes clients’ personal values and goals. He is also a trained practitioner of SAFE EMDR (Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR): a specialized therapy designed for the treatment of trauma.
Michael has known (and learned a lot from) many first responders over the years. He is honored to be a member of the RSS team.
